Privacy policy

This policy explains what Gaiah RPG collects, why, who receives it and how you can see, fix or delete it. It covers the iPhone app, the game servers and this website.
1.What we collect
Account: your email, your password stored only as a one-way hash, your role and the date the account was created.
Game data: your characters and everything they carry in the game, such as name and tag, race, class, level, attributes, items, gold, skills, quests, bestiary, battles, party, places discovered, trades and market offers.
Gaiah Coins and purchases: your coin balance and its history. When you buy coins in the App Store, we keep the Apple transaction id, the pack and the coins credited. Apple handles the payment; we never see your card.
Password recovery: a 6 digit code sent to your email, stored only as a hash, valid for 15 minutes.
Waitlist on this website: your email, language, the platform you play on and the date you agreed to receive news.
On your phone only: your language, sound and vibration settings, the tips you have seen and your session. These stay on the device and are not sent to us.
Technical records: the servers write error logs to keep the game running. They do not contain your email, password or the content of your requests.
2.Why we use it
To run your account and the game: sign in, save your progress, let you play with others and recover your password. The legal basis is the performance of the contract you accept when you create an account.
To process coin purchases, refunds and keep a financial record. The legal basis is the contract and our legal obligations.
To tell people on the waitlist about Gaiah. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
To keep the game safe and fix errors, under our legitimate interest in a working and fair game.
3.What other players see
Other players can see your character's name and tag, level, race, class and look, and the character in your party, trades and market offers. Your email is never shown to other players.
5.How long we keep it
Account and game data: while your account exists. Deleting your account in the app removes your characters and their game data.
Coin history and App Store purchases: kept after the account is deleted, as a financial record and to handle refunds Apple sends later.
Market trades already completed: the other player keeps the record of what they bought or sold, without your account.
Recovery codes: 15 minutes, and deleted with the account.
Waitlist: until you ask to leave the list or until the list stops being used.
6.Your rights
You can ask to see your data, correct it, receive a copy, delete it, or withdraw consent for the waitlist. Write to admin@gaiahrpg.com from the email of your account and we will answer within 15 days.
You can delete your account yourself in the app, under Settings, Delete account.
You can also complain to the Brazilian National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).
7.Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, we update the date at the top. If the change is important, we will also tell you in the app or by email.
